Welcome to Grammar Point.
My name is David Cherry. I began teaching English in 2003, and I think it is the best job I have ever had.
If you study English for a long time, you will discover there is always something new to learn. English lessons get harder and harder. You might want to give up. Don't do it.
This blog focuses on the easy basic things.
If you know the easy basic things, you can use English in a daily routine way. Then, when you have to learn new and difficult things, you can add them to the easy basic things you know.
This blog focuses on the most basic concepts to help you write and speak more clearly. This should help your grades improve. There are some resources to practice reading and listening, but the main focus here is on writing and speaking.
The idea of this blog is for you to apply effort in areas where you have the most power to take control. You might not always understand what you read or hear, but you can use what you know to carefully craft what you write or say.
I look forward to helping you learn English, and wish you the very best.
Advice for Students
If you want to learn, you have to listen. Try to improve a little bit every day. Do your best, use time wisely, and complete your work. When time is up, just move on without worrying too much about the past.Homework helps you learn even if you don’t get all the answers right. Always do your homework. Set a time limit for yourself. Attempt every question.
